Promotions in Motion has over 50 animated windows available to hire. From elves preparing Santa's sleigh to our interpretations of illustrated children's books, we have something available for any space and budget. Animated windows feature signature string and mechanical animation, are available as stand alone units or as a part of a larger Christmas setting, they are easily transportable with an internal lighting system and available in various sizes.

2001 - today

Promotions in Motion has designed and built a wide variety of temporary and permanent Santa settings. Christmas settings can be hired or custom built to provide retailers and theme parks with a new attraction over the holiday period. Santa settings are designed to house Christmas photos, merchandise outlets or performance stages.

Promotions in Motion design and construct bespoke decorations. We have a wide variety of hanging decorations, garlands and props, including large outdoor Santa's and other 3D sculptures.

Christmas 2006 – 2014

Promotions in Motion were engaged by David Jones to deliver their much loved Christmas windows from 2006-2013. Each year the popularity of the Promotions in Motion Christmas windows grew to the point where  the crowds were so deep that the Sydney Police had to direct re-traffic surrounding the Sydney store on Christmas Eve 2011. Promotions in Motion developed a number of windows following key themes including: the elves Christmas, the Nutcracker, Christmas carols from around the world and traditional carols.

Following the success of their 2014 Christmas Windows, Smith and Caughey's engaged Promotions in Motion to design and build 10 animated windows based on the book A Pirates Night Before Christmas, by Phillip Yates with illustrations by Sebastià Serra.

Smith and Caughey's engaged Promotions in Motion to design and build 10 animated windows based on the award winning children’s book Cinderella: An Art Deco Love Story. Promotions in Motion interpreted the books illustrations to become a Christmas story with the permission of the books Author and Illustrator, Lynn Roberts and David Roberts.

Promotions in Motion was engaged to bring to life the illustrations featured in Fancy Nancy’s Splendiferous Christmas by Jane O'Connor. The windows were an unprecedented success, with Smith and Caughey's achieving its highest Christmas trade, recording record crowds, and selling over 2,000 copies Fancy Nancy’s Splendiferous Christmas.

Promotions In Motion interpreted Rob Scotten's famous story Russell's Christmas Magic. Our artists greatly enjoyed working with the quirky characters and spent many hours hand-knitting Russell's fleece.

Promotions in Motions interpreted A Pirates 12 Days of Christmas by Phillip Yates. The books illustrator, Sebastià Serra, praised Promotions in Motions sensibility and fidelity to the original characters.

The Ginger Factory

2005

The Ginger Factory engaged Promotions in Motion to design, construct, and maintain a tourist attraction for their visitor centre.  Visitors climb aboard lifeboats and follow the story of the Ginger Bread Man, who runs away as fast as he can from two hungry chefs – visiting many countries along the way. The ride features a stunning array of mechanically animated characters and sets.

Promotions in Motion design and construct major theatrical sets, and point of sale displays for exhibitions and trade fairs.  Promotions in Motion have been proud to construct major sets for Cavalcade of Fire, Conrad Jupiters Zingara, and the Geneys G-Force Conference, as well as animate displays for the Sydney and Melbourne productions of Santa’s Kingdom.
