ANIMATED RETAIL WINDOWS

Promotions in Motion custom build and hire seasonal animated retail windows to retailers, visual merchandisers, city councils, libraries, hotels and tourist attractions. All windows feature our signature marionette puppetry and are handmade by scenic artists, sculptors, puppet makers and cabinet makers.

Promotions in Motion has over 50 animated windows available to hire as stand alone units or as a part of a larger Christmas setting.  Promotions in Motion can be engaged to design animated retail windows to a client’s brief or we can bring existing stories, illustrations and advertising campaigns to life. We have been proud to partner with clients including Smith and Caughey's and David Jones to create their famous Christmas windows.

Decorations & Props

Promotions in Motion design, construct and install bespoke decorations.  We produce a wide variety of hanging decorations, garlands and props, including large outdoor Santa's and other 3D sculptures.  Contact us to see what we have in stock or ask what we can design especially for your Christmas theme or brand colour palette.

Christmas settings

Promotions in Motion custom build, hire, install, store and maintain Christmas settings that provide retailers, hotels and tourism operators with a new attraction over the holiday period. They house Santa photos, merchandise outlets or performance stages. All settings include a Santa chair that seats four people around Santa, are available in a variety of designs and sizes, and are suitable for either indoor or outdoor use.

Promotions in Motion has a number of Christmas settings available to hire, lease, lease to buy or purchase. Promotions in Motion can also be engaged to build or reinvigorate semi permanent structures to a clients brief.  We have developed Santa Caves for clients including David Jones and Santa's Kingdom. 

Trade displays and sets

Promotions in Motion design and construct major theatrical sets and point of sale displays for exhibitions and trade fairs.  Promotions in Motion have been proud to construct major sets for Cavalcade of Fire, Conrad Jupiters Zingara, and the Genesys G-Force Conference, as well as animate displays for the Sydney and Melbourne productions of Santa’s Kingdom.  

Industrial tourism

Promotions in Motion design and construct new tourist experiences or can reinvigorate an existing tourist attraction. Promotions in Motion offer a turnkey operation at any size, services include: concept and design, construction, provision of operating procedures and staff training, long term maintance and advice regarding best marketing practise.

Promotions in Motion has been proud to partner with The Ginger Factory to build Overboard the Ride, and was engaged to revitalise the first two sections of the Visitor Centre of Cadbury World Dunedin, New Zealand. Following the refurbishment, Cadbury World Dunedin won a Tourism Award and has recorded increased patronage (re-visits).

Promotions in Motion can be engaged to bump in and out existing displays.  Our 1600 square meter purpose built studio can store Christmas settings year round.
